In the late 1980s, Jud Ireland, a real estate investor by trade, realized something most of us know intimately: condoms suck. Instead of complaining about the issue, Jud set out to find a solution. He diagnosed the problem—that condoms only come in one size, and that for safety purposes this size is tight on most men—and he came up with a solution. He realized that the reason for a condom to be produced in only 1 or 2 sizes is due to easy, quick and cheap manufacturing; this does absolutely nothing for pleasure, safety, or a secure fit. Determined and motivated to make a difference, Jud sets out to change the world on how they see condoms by introducing JUD custom fit condoms.
Our condoms are produced under the watchful eye of third generation condom maven, Klaus Richter, who has been involved in condom production his entire life. Klaus moved to Malaysia over two decades ago without much more than a suitcase and the dream, inherited from his father and grandfather, of running the finest condom manufacturing facility in the world. Since then, Klaus has built up his production expertise to unparalleled heights. He currently makes upwards of 90% of the condom dipping and testing machines that are sold every year. Every day, Klaus takes a walk through his factory, greets his workers, and observes his machines, listening for the errant sound that will notify him of a nut that needs to be tightened, or a belt that needs to be replaced. It's this meticulous nature that ensures that our condoms are produced not to meet, but to exceed the highest compliance standards set by regulative agencies all over the world.
